Obituary of Vimala Nayar
It is with great regret that we inform the community of the passing of Dr. Vimala Nayar on the morning of June 1st. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Sankaran Nayar and her two children. Vimala came to the US in 1972 and was a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, practicing Pediatrics alongside her husband. She was a devoted mother and wife, with a beautiful soul, and will be deeply missed.
Attendance at funeral services is being restricted due to the current COVID-19 situation. A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
